Solenoid curve very flat ... ?
Hi all and Bert.
I am now converting my 5th engine (2 Saito's, two ASP, and this OS), a 10cc 4st OS. This one needed also to be broken in.
OK.
I notice a completely flat curve. the curve adjustment is very very precise, 1% more or less will change its behaviour completely.
On my Saito's it was nicely in a hook shape, ok and running fine. Adj were +/- 3 %
I converted a 15cc ASP and there too the curve was pretty flat. Works fine though.
Now here is my question for you motorists experts: I suppose this is possible only because the Hi needle profile is not conical but is not straight in the middle. It would mean the shape of the needle will handle the richness variation alone. Am I wrong ?
Thanks for your knowledge !
