H9 edge 540

Great Planes 1/4 Giles

Great Planes Patty Wagstaff extra

i just picked up on of the kangke laser 2000 models, very well built, light and all wood, the instructions suck, but the hardware and such seems good, aluminum pattern style horns and aluminum turnbuckle servo linkages. the flying wires are terrible. i bought this kit on the recomendation from some highyly regarded pilots hat it flies very well, more like a pattern plane. on my scale the airframe weighs exactly 8 pounds. will be powered by fox 2.4

These two planes would be my choice:
Great Planes 1/4 Giles
Great Planes Patty Wagstaff extra

I have the Giles and it flies great with a gas engine

I also have the GP giles 202 and the sig 300.The 300 is smoother but the giles is more suited to 3D I think. They both have Brison 2.4.

I had a sig and the landing speed is slower but the giles is more maneuverable. If you are in IMAC and fly Basic or Sportsman, either plane is good. I got tired of the SIG color scheme. I have replaced it with a MW Extra that is larger.

The Edge is better than the Extra for 3D but not better for aerobatics.
