Default Shocks leaking and overheating

Few questions:

1. Rear left shock started to leak oil. That's probably x-ring.
Can I buy just rings? If not, I see 2 rebuild kits for shocks at towerhobbies
"GTR" and "plain" one. Which one I need?
What weight oil comes with Revo? (it doesn't say on a bottle). What weight oil I need to use?
I'm just plaing on a grass/pavement, some jumps and hard corners.

Aslo, I see "shock saver sleeve". Does it help? I mean, x-ring fail because of dirt or play in a shaft?

2. Engine overheats when I get it to run properly. Will take it out and check for leaks.
Also - tune changes as fuel tank gets emptier. Is there any "constant pressure" rig that one can get for those?

Thanks!

Get this. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXHGA2&P=Z. As for shock oil, for just messin around in the yard 50 or 60wt should be fine. Check the o-ring under the gas cap. This is a common place to have an air leak. Thats the easiest to fix and its cheap. Let me know if the o-ring is good or not. I just don't feel like typing what else it could be, but I can if you need help!

Well.. I didn't take o-ring off yet. But I can tell that it looks good outside - there is nothing wrong. And it's orange one.

I will do complete pressure test as I've read about all that could be wrong.
I was just thinking if there any way to fight issues with tune when tank goes from full to empty.

Some kind of valve or whatever to let air from exhaust in but keeping backpressure constant. Otherwise locking it so we don't have too much pressure on full tank and we can tune?

Play with the routing of the fuel line. From the tank to the carb.

I route my first 2 bends at the top, then my next 2 bends are low.

This is hoping that the toughest part for the fuel is to get up to the first loops, then gravity kicks in and its all down hill to the carb.
Not sure if that thinking is correct, but it works for me.

You can also play with the lenght of the hose.

Yeh... Seems like I just sorted out my problems. Truck was running like .... When I lean it it would barely shift to the second gear and was overheating...

Anyways - today I let my 3yo to control a truck a little (pressing accelerator) - of course she started to turn trim adjustors. It was that last time she touched controller at home - she changed a trim of accelerator. I was impressed with brakes (thought they are "broke in" now ) but was beating myself to death trying to tune this thing..

After I adjusted trim - thing just jumped away shifting sooner then I can count..

Then I took off cover to adjust brake/accel servo and did few passes. Temp dropped to 210-220 from 270-280 I was used too.
Need to cut out some windshield.

Live and learn...

P.S. After this it started to die after high speed runs. But I don't think it will be a problem to fix.
