Davette ss new toy
Just picked up another toy 
I'll get in the water tomorrow ( I called my buddy and there is still a patch of open water by his house) can't wait to see what she'll do. I had these decals laying around so it will have to do unti I get my airbrush.

Gave it run today a little slow with the octura 470 that was on it but I put my 575 on there and gained about 6-7 mph. Getting to cold now so in the spring I think it will get a new mod 26 and a prop from the wizard (you know who)

How did you like it besides it being slow,I had better luck with a 670 or a 275 on it,if you get it going very fast just be careful this boat is a handful at speed,that being said the hull is very fast in a straight line and fairly stable but cornering is another story you will see.

No for the life of me I cant remember who I got it from maybe the guy I got it from will read this post and possibly help us out,by the way I did not mean your boat was slow.What I was saying is that when I had it I got it to right at 60 mph and let me tell you it was a trip.............

how did you have it set to do 60mph, Motor,prop,ect? I didn't think you were saying it was slow. I was saying it seemed slow, but I'm still quite happy with it. Like I said in the spring I'll shake it up. thanks GF

Because the DaVette SS is a shallow V you need to set it up similar to a crackerbox . I put a double skeg at the balance point and I have no problems turning at high speeds . In fact if I'm not careful it will turn to sharp causing it to flip . But if you drive it enough you'll know how to run it with no problems .
I'm designing the deep v so nobody will have any problems with set up or running .

Look's like something i would build!! I would have posted sooner but my pc hade a major crash[sm=punching.gif] Grrrrrrrrrrr !!! anyway's the SS will have you on your toe's it's a blast to run. Have fun with it!! like i said the G2 zenoah in it is modded and will run like a raped ape !! put the skeg in it . as for the airbrushing bring it over here . and i'll hook you up will my buddy to finish it up.
