ys 91 and ys 110 Question
Hello,
I am wanting to get a keleo exhaust for a hangar 9 arf and was looking at buying a YS FZ 91 4-c. The keleo exhaust only mentions that it was built for the ys 110 fz. I was wondering if anybody knew if these engines are similar and the exhaust could be used on either engine, or if they are different and I would run into problems with fitting it? Thanks for the help!

Never heard of Keleo Exhaust systems
However, the 110 and 91 uses the same exhaust mounting specs, meaning same angle's and thread.. In most cases you can go backward and not have too much trouble. Meaning a muffler designed for a 110 will work fine on a 91. Sometimes going the other way can be an issue. A smaller muffler system for say a 91 might be a little too restrictive on the 110. In many cases the muffler would have to be very restrictive to cause a problem.
I have seen a 140Sport aftermarket muffler get turned inside out by a 140DZ. It actually became a grenade.
So beware of too much restriction the 110 is a pretty stout engine and moves a large volume through the engine.
I'll go check out those exhaust systems...maybe its something for future reference. Thanks

Just looked it over...The one they make for the Saito 100 is likely too work. I would talk to them though. Its pretty expensive and I don't know the thread size on the Saito. The YS is a 13 x 1mm
My big concern is the expensive nature of the muffler system although it looks cool, compared to the fact that it might not hold up. You need to ask them. The YS engines will shake a bit more than a Saito so any mounting you do needs to be somewhat soft. Not the engine mount but the muffler mounting. Maybe some rubber grommets or lord style isolators for the mounting. This will allow the muffler system to move a little when the engine lurches. Even a hard mounted engine will move a bit. I would allow for it to move a bit with the engine...
