Default savage x 4.6 vs t-maxx 3.3

hey guys, i'm thinking of getting a nitro mt soon. this will be my first nitro. which one is cheaper in the long run. which would you choose. i've heard the savage is way tougher but the t-maxx is faster and more nimble. i'm just going to be bashing and occationally a couple laps around the local track. probably not actually racing.

thanks

also, i was looking at pull starts and they are cheaper than batteries and charger for starters. do pull starts and glow ignitors work well?

Yes, they work well. You need an ignitor regardless though.

Roto-start will definitely help out by NOT giving you blisters like the pull-start would.

Just get 2 cheap flat-packs and a decent charger and call it a day.

If you have experience pull starters are not all that bad for bashing. I ran a pull starter on my Savage K4.6 for over 9 gallons and only had a problem with the pull starter 3 times. I all so could fire it up on command every time. I did switch to a Roto Starter as I race but for well over a year I raced with the pull starter. I never got blisters on my fingers from a pull starter.

T Max is a good truck if you do not mind replacing the engine every couple of gallons and buy all the RPM up grades so it does not break every time you hit a little stone.
