I would like to invite and welcome everyone in the area who can make it to our annual Big Bird fly in September 4th and 5th at the Shreveport SHARKS Flying Field. We have this event every year and always have a very good turnout, but the more the better! For those unfamiliar with our field, we have a 700'x50' paved runway. There are plenty of hotels available within about 10 minutes of the field, some in casinos, etc. We will be giving away pilots prizes, etc. I know its an early promotion of the fly in, but looking to spread the word and get lots of pilots here. If you think you can make it please post and let us know so we can get an idea of how many pilots we are going to have, as well as an idea of how many people we are going to need to feed!
