Equiping my truck's drivetrain with dust boots, what fits?
I have a Losi LST2 to which I want to add some dust boots to protect the various universals/dogbone & cups, I have used chopped up balloons but they are fragile.
The specs are as follows:
Centre cups: 12.9mm(W) x 12mm plus(L)
Diff universals: 14mm(W) x 15mm(L)
Diff Cups: 13mm(W) x 12.30mm(L)
So my question is, of the cars/trucks that you own, are there any boots, corrugated or straight, drive train or shocks, that would be a good, firm fit for my dimensions?
I would particularly be interested in the following boots if you have them installed:
Mugen MBX7- Damper Boots Small
HPI Pulse - shock boot
Vaterra Glamis - Outdrive boot
Losi Desert Buggy - Axle boot
Team Durango DEX410 - Outdrive boot
Associated RC8.2 - Shock boots
YOKOMO B-MAX4 III - Drive cups
Team C T8V3 - Shock boot
Traxxas Shock Dust Boots
Cheers,
Tom.

I've used heat shrink tubing (did not apply heat to it) and zip ties to protect driveline CVDs/universals. I've even doubled up on balloons. Either way, it didn't look OEM-ish enough, and I gave up on it...until now.
RC8.2e rear shock boots = 49mm in length
