Receiver Linking trouble
Hope someone can help me with this. I have a Futaba 16iz radio trying to link a Futaba R3106GF receiver where it repeatedly fails. I created a new model, switched to T-FHSS, then run the link procedure. although the light on the receiver goes from red to flashing red to solid green it never connects, and gives a failed message. I found that that receiver is compatible with futaba radios that have the T-FHSS protocol. Any help would be appreciated.

Here is a list of Futaba Transmitters and compatable receivers. You should be good. I'm not familiar with the T16IZ. You said you have to switch it between FASST and FHSS modes? Does it show on the display that it "took"?

Hi Charlie. Yes it. Does show that it switched to FHSS. The receiver gets signal and switches to green, but then it fails. I did check compatibility before buying the receiver, maybe I got a dud.

One more thing to check. Do the power up of the Tx while holding down the RTN/home button and make sure the RF is on. (Or however you enter the range check menu for the 16IZ).
Only other thought I have is to hold the link button down longer on the Rx when you turn it on. Like for three seconds.
