Default Pics of My FLying Cow :-)

Well I got a chance to fly my edge 80 heavy yesterday. Other than the carb vibrating loose and having to make a dead stick the first flight it was pretty uneventful. Lands like a trainer and the MVVS purrs like a kitten. I noticed that mine is very pitch sensitive and I think I remember reading in one of the other threads that you recommend adding weight to the tail until it flys level both upright and inverted? Right now when I get it to fly hands off upright when I flip inverted it climbs rapidly. I already have the battery pack located under the back of the wing and can't move it back any further without enlarging the battery compartment. Only change I would make if I were to do it over again is I would definitely buy the arf. Building is fun but I enjoy flying more. If you ever get an order for one from me you'll know that this one has bit the dirt. :-)

I think you need to move your battery forward. If it is tail heavy it will be pitch sensetive and climb when inverted.

That is correct. Bob, you are tail heavy and need to move the battery to the front hatch.

Yeah I see that after I reread the posts. That might explain why it landed light as a feather. If the wind is calm tonight I'll flip the battery and try it. If that doesn't do it I'll just stick some weights on the nose...whats a few more ounces LOL
