RE: hanger 9 bf 109 build
FIRST IMPRESSIONS
i opened the box to find every thing in good order, the covering was tight no wrinkles, nothing was broken. The color scheme looks better in person.
i have the e-flite eletracts, and struts to install in the wing. will post pics soon.

Agreed! The other thread is more of a hodge podge of comments, and positive/negative critiques.
Looking forward to your build.

i used super rc z 56 canopy glue to put on the canopy, i like using this stuff because it wipes off with water when you first put it on and it dries clear. i use elastics to keep the canopy from lifting it ensures a good fitment, well it works for me.

The 60 - 120 81-Degree BF 109 Strut-Ready Main Electric Retract by E-flite (EFLG509) with the 60 - 120 BF 109 Main Strut Set by E-flite (EFLG510109). They went in pretty easy, i had to cut away a little of the plastic on the inside to get cleareance for the pin the use to keep it together. The blind nuts were pre installed and alligned perfect with the mounts. the hardware that came with the retracts were of good quality allen heads. All and all one of the easiest set a retracts i ever put in, plug and play. I powered them up, they move with authorty no slop or play, little noisy but no more then what a reall plane would be.

I am looking at the angle the retracts are from the leading edge. Does the wheel fit parallel in the wing or is it canted slightly?<div>Ed</div><div>
