Coachella Flying this Friday??
Anyone want to go check this field out this friday. I called the club prez and he said come on down. 600ft runway & wide open space..
Directions....
Take the I-10 East towards Indio
When the I-10 splits take the 86 South
Make a left on Avenue 52
A Right on Fillmore St
Now a left on Avenue 54
Avenue 54 turns into a dirt road

I've flown in IMAC contest there. Nice facility, not far from THE CASINO! They have a sun problem till about 10:00am as I remember, similar to Buttonwillow, but without the 4,000' runway which allows you to adjust your takeoff and landing position.
