Rebuild Mach 427?
Rebuild Mach 427 or buy another?
i have original LST I bought second hand. Engine starts, but little to no resistance turning it over with finger.
i can source the dyn0905 piston and sleeve for $100aud about $ 60usd.
what to do? Is the original Mach 427 ok? Or is it very out dated. Looked at LRP 32 or force 32 .

Don’t bother with the cheap ones. Get a Truggy 28-8RT. It will blow the doors off the 427 in power and longevity 2:1 if not more. Couple the 28-8RT with a 41017 Novarossi manifold and a 9886SS pipe and you will have a stupidly stable and incredibly powerful truck. In modified form, they’re even crazier. Here’s my LST2 with a Nova 28-8RT modified - this truck had an SH .28 P6 (basically a .28 version of the Mach 427) in it before the Nova. It ran 38mph with the SH. I could get it no better. The modified Nova ran 45mph still rich. This is with stock gearing.
