Fly Eagle F-16
Looking for some recommended servos for the Fly Eagle F-16 (1/9) and not the $100.00 dollar ones. Trying to come up with reasonable costs to get it flying. I want to keep it below $50.00 a servo if possible.

you skimp on the stab servos and you'd be money ahead to just take a hammer and go ahead and smash it to bits now, least that way you won't destroy the turbine and rest of the radio equipment in the crash.

Totally agree with KC
I skimp on receiver battery on my Skymaster F-16 1/8 and after 22 flights I destroyed my model in a crash almost to a 35% of the total cost. That is too much money compared wuth the costs of reliable redundant batteries with a powerbox.
I learned the lesson: Expensive Jet, expensive radio gear...

I also flew a turbine Maverick with analog servos with no issues either, but didn't actually fly it long enough to be able to conclude otherwise.
Note however, if you can save some money and buy some Hitec or JR Digitals, by all means do so.
