Default honcho run

went out to my fav spot today to test new motor and esc. itook thestock motor andesc out of my losi xxxsct and programed it for crawl mode and the truck rips now. found a little mud before disaster struck. rolled about 10 times and tore shock mount screw out. made it up with three shocks but the run was over. will put longer screws through mounts and back them up with nuts i think. anyone else tearing anything up yet?

i built a trail rig with venom axles and a scx10 chassis and i kept stripping the hexes in the wheelstill i found the hexes on the venom axles had a small flange on them and not allowing the wheel to go on all the way, so out came the dremel with a cut off wheel. now it'll run more than 4 minutes. this is an older pic it has 1.9 flat irons and scx10 wheels now

got her cleaned up, fixed up, and ready for the next run. i wanted to run the vel system but i had this losimotor and esc that needed to go in something. i plan on stuffing 2.2 swampers under it soon so the extra power will be nice. how does the vel system do at low speed?

i've got mine geared at 14-87 and it has good low speed, it has so much torque that i run a piece of balsa wood between the tranny and motor due to motor plate flex. i am using a 6 cell nimh because with a 2 cell lipo it's way too fast. some guys i know are snapping the aluminumdiff outdrives, and they have to go to steel outdrives. my tranny is all steel.
