M6 Mod Zenoah G260 Power Head, What is It?
I would like to know What type is the M6 Mod Zenoah G260 Power Head from Whobbies? Is It a Mid. Mod. or Full Mod. Engine?

Let review what they claim and debate there choice of mods ?
1 * High Compression ..... IMPOSSIBLE, if you do #5 ? compression is LESS than stock !
2* Relieved Piston ..... If talking turning down diameter at dome around ring? ... A good thing
3* Lightened Piston to 21 grams ..... I VERY good thing
4* Lowered Intake Timing .... Not a mod, but a result of doing #7, it OK either way.
5* Raised Exhaust Timing ..... Required to get max performance with a tuned pipe
6* High Hat Exhaust Porting ..... Easy way to increase ex timing value without reworking the entire EX roof profile, Does work, but not ideal []
7* Copper Coated Base Gasket ..... Reduces SQUISH clearance and causes #4, along with #5, makes #1 a FALSE statement. But a tighter squish is a good thing.
IMO, would say the mods are only modest and by no means even remotely advanced or radical.

Full Mod. I have one and quite happy with it. It screams and never gets off pipe even in turns, meaning your boat basically stays on pipe and on speed the whole time, whether or not some might disagree, for the price you can't go wrong. Follow the recommended pipe setup and ya won't be dissapointed.

The recomendation is Pipe 2" Band, but I read in some place, that the pipe 2" band has more torque and not rpm, Is It wrong?

Please correct me if I'm wrong:
- A new stock 260 with pipe puts out around 4 HP
- A new stock SIKK puts out a little more RPMs and HP
- If you take this engine to a race like they advertised, you will only embarass yourself. Everybody in your class will be packing at least around 6 HP up to 7-8. You do the math.

embarass your self?......
lets say 6 boats to heat
typically one will die
two will collide
one will be dq'd
one or more will flip
your stock engine boat will finish 2nd or 3rd not all that bad.
ive won high points season championships with stock engines, get out there and get some stick time.
top finish first you must first finish

And yes I'm sure you can win the high point championship with a stocker. I just think it also takes a lot of experience, wheel time, patience... as I'm sure you have.
I just have a problem with their misleading statement about their engine. It could be very damaging to newbies. What is the % of racers use WHH engine versus the % of racers use "full mod" engines? If their engine is the racers' choice, Carlo/ Matthew/ Butch/ Todd/ Mitch/ Al.... will be out of business. Personally, I just don't like getting lapped.
