Default BVM Bandit refitted P70

HI all, after repairing the nose, adding some decals and removing the P60 and installing a P70, I gave the Bandit a test run this morning.

Very nicely done Pete. That scheme looks like a lot of work.

Did you get to fly her?

rcpete,

As you have changed from a P60 to a P70, was the Bandit underpowered with the P60?[&o]

The reason I ask is I am considering a ARTF bandit with a P60.

HI all, to fly a ARF Bandit with a P60 in my opinion, you have to be a really good fly-er, you don"t have the extra power to get out of trouble. Takeoffs are sluggish with a P60. You also have to build very light, no extra batteries or fuel. You will also have to fly with full trottle most of the flight ,to be on the power band.
I did fly Dustins bandit with a P60 and thought it was very crisp and light. His setup was excellent.
As I am a heavy builder, my setup did not do justice to the Bandit.
Build light or put a P70 in it.

PS, I had the non SE P60 in mine, can"t comment, what the difference would be with a SE.

I would also bet that their P60 wasnt a standard P60. Probably running several thousand rpm higher.
