Great Planes Giant Aeromaster Servo Suggestions Please...
Hi Gang,
I'm getting ready to finish up my Giant Aeromaster, and I would like suggestions on what servos
I should use in this plane. I am using a Futaba T8FG radio with an R617FS receiver. I want to use
a pull/pull system for my rudder. I also hate seeing servos on the outside of an airplane, so will be
running my servos within the fuse. It has a G62 for power. I can run 2 servos on the wings or four,
whichever you think would be best.
The reason I'm asking, is this radio is brand new to me. Up until now, I have stuck with my old FM
72Mhz, 6 channel radios. Looking around at servos and options have me a little confused on what
will work with what. So trying to keep it as straight forward as possible and simple for my first 2.4Ghz
setup.
Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Patrick

Hitec 645mg or 5645mg would be my choice of today's servos . I highly reccomend that whatever brand servo you choose use metal gear servos and use one on each aileron (4) The Hitec hs645mg will be good for all control surfaces on this plane. The Giant Aero Master I had many years ago also had a G62 and It was a great flyer with plenty of power .
