Default Project "Twister": 1:6 scale 1996 Dodge Ram

I've been wanting to make a "Twister" truck for a long time and finally came across another Tyco big bad kong body to make it with. While its not an extended cab long bed it looks close enough for now. Later on I will find another body and cut them both and fit it as an extended cab long bed with lexan windows, but that will require an entire new stretched chassis.

Truck specs:

Axial SCX10
Stretched to 13.2" wheelbase
VXL brushless motor/esc
Traxxas 2075 servo
Airtronics FM radio
100% waterproof
Rc4wd t-runner bead locks (for now)
Rc4wd 1.9 mud thrashers

Had to fill in where the blower was first and sand it smooth. I used a plastic weld putty and it worked very well. I've painted all the red for now and next is to paint the grill, door/tailgate handles, bumper, lower valance, tail lights, tail gate panel etc.

Here's the goal

Nice! Cover those holes with a little bit of Dap Painter Calk and paint it red. It would also be cool with working lights. But, you can do what you want.

I think im gonna make a tonneau cover or "Dorothy" which willl cover it. Later I might go back and cut out the windows and light areas and run lexan with headlight/taillights.
