Old thread new report....FAA data and Drones
Being a full size pilot owning two planes, an RC fixed wing pilot and scratch designer and builder I have both feet in the door. I love most things which fly.
Here is a new report about this problem.
I am sure there is very little left to be said that members haven't already said in previous posts regarding this subject.
It is only a matter of time before the tragic accident.
Just.want to offer up the report.

While I appreciate the issue of drones/quads vs full size, I couldn't help but question this paragraph in that article:
A Cessna pilot reported a drone OVER THE U.S. CAPITOL???? I don't fly full-size, but I've always understood that you CAN'T fly over DC. How did a Cessna pilot see a drone in the air over DC, unless he ALSO was over DC?
Just an observation.
