Engine performance database
There was a large database of engines giving there performance with various props. It was located at rcfaq.com . What happened to it?

RE: Engine performance database
I was also wondering if RCfaq is down forever or if RPM database has moved to a different site...
If anyone knows names/e-mails of RCfaq folks, I'd like to contact them and offer my server to host their database.
It seems that there's a sad trend in R/C community--some sites disappear and some others, like RCCombat database of tank sizes, close the full access for general public.

Leo,
It seems that RCFaq web page is no longer accessible.
I took a few peaks in it also, at the time.
There was a web page that displayed an engine review, for the YS.53FZ engine, done by a prominent British reviewer.
I have quoted RPM data obtained from that review, but I can no longer find this page either.

I found pieces of that database in various Russian and Czech sites and assembled it. It's in Excel form. Can I upload this here (It's about 90K in size)?

RE: Engine performance database
Harry,
Thanks a lot!
Where did you get this table? The one from RCfaq also has comments like source of information, muffler used, etc. Any way, your table is very helpful, more than 600 lines!
May I post it at our R/C club web site?
Thank you,
Boris

Harry:
I brought your file in, sorted it by make, model, and then prop manufacturer. Much easier to find an engine now.
If you would like the sorted version I can send it back either tab delimited as you sent it, or as an Excel .xls file.
Let me know. And if I have your permission I'll pass it on to anyone else who would like it.
Bill.

RE: Engine performance database
Thanks for sorting it Bill. I found pieces of this "out there in internet land". I only concatenated the info for my own reference and hold no proprietary right. The larger prop info (without the comments) was peeled out of PĂ© Reivers' prop-power xls download. I recommend visiting his site.
It might pay to check with him on that part of it at least.
Thanks again and my grateful acknowledgement to the authors of this info whoever they are.
