My New Hummingbird CP!!!
Well folks, after flying the FP Hummingbird V.1 and then converting it to an Airwolf, I decided to go all out on a Hummingbird Elite CP.
Here are the goodies.
Hacker B20 - 31S
Hacker Master 8A- 3P Heli Controller
HF-100 256 controller for the tail
Thunder Power 1320 3 Cell Lipo
CSM HL2000 Gyro
Hitec HS-55 all around
Hitec Electron 6 RX
Helihobby Retrofit gear
Aluminum Head from Century
Custom Painted canopy. (first real airbrush attempt.)
Custom Carbon battery tray
Flies great!!!!! Still needs a little tweaking and new rear fins.
Check it out.

RE: My New Hummingbird CP!!!
Cost, well that is top secret! If I told you, my wife would have to kill me!!
Let's see
Retrofit gear 29.99
Aluminum Head 17.50
Collar Mod 5.99
Auto Rotation Gear 22.50
Motor Pinion 8.99
Motor 95.00
Hacker ESC 75.00
HF-100 ESC 55.00
CSM Gyro 89.00
Kit 99.95
Tail Heat Sink 4.25
3 HS-55 60.00
Electron RX 58.99
RX Crystal 7.99
1320 Lipo 52.95
Custom Batt tray Freebie
----------------------------------
Total 683.10
All was shipped for free from what seemed like 10 vendors!!!
I know, that's a lot, but I don't get out much (kids, old house, school, work) and it fits my lifestyle better than a 50 size at the same price. Don't get me wrong, my next purchase will be a 50 size. As a plank guy, I never liked heli's, but I am getting bit by the bug and really enjoying it.
As far as a comparison, these are 2 entirely different animals. With the Hacker and Lipo setup, it has way more power than the FP has. (Which is good as the CP is heavier.) I have not had a chance to wring it out quite yet as I just finished it. The CSM gyro is awesome though. Really sensitive and with the Heading Lock is really nice. Seems way more solid in the tail.
With my Hummingbird Airwolf runs a 2 cell 1500 lipo and is just enough to get up over the ground effect at my altitude. I'd add another cell, but I don't want to fry my mixing board and motors as they are all stock.
I'll let you all know when I have flown it more, but preliminarily, it is awesome.
Jason

RE: My New Hummingbird CP!!!
You can't put a scale body on the FP Elite Kit. For that you will have to jump down to the V2 or V3 kit.
Fly's great. nice and solid, just at my altitude it adds a little weight that holds the altitude down a bit.
