need advice going to build a crawler
I am going to build a crawler and I am going to use txt-1 axles. What transmission and driveshafts can I use?

RE: need advice going to build a crawler
Since your on a tight budget I think clod axles are more suitable for you. They have the trannies built right into them, so no driveshafts or trannies to purchase seperately.
I think the clod axles are the best ones for crawling anyways, they keep your COG really low due to the motors and trannies being built into them, whereas a TXT setup has it all up in the chassis.
You can see for yourself right here, the link is to a TXT and the picture is of my clod.

yes, but I priced clod axles 175$$[X(] txt-1 axles are about 75-90$ and a pede tranny is about 25$??? or more?and drive shafts are about 10$that's cheaper than clod axles!

You can get clod axles way cheaper than that.
I paid 95 bucks for a whole (used) stock clodbuster. The axles by themselves go for around $75 used. And you can get them brand new for $140 from thundertech.

I am probialy going to have to get them new. let me add up [gets calculator] the both ways to build it is about the same price! no driveshafts!!! is the clod axles durable? I am going to bash this thing too. I am going to have a allumnum or metal chassie so the chassie should be ok

OR=should I buy a super clod buster kit for about 200$ ond buy a radio system 39-45$ and put the axles on a new chassie? instead of having to buy a 120$ esc which I can not afford and I would have to run on 2wd and I don't really mind a msc for now

that sound like a good idea... i am also planning on swapping from my TLT with driveshafts [:'(] to a clod crawler .. much easier to play with.. and when i make a custom chassis i dont need to worry about stupid center drive shaft lengths...
and a lower of COG sounds great to me...

im not saying that the TLT is a bad truck.. because it isnt.. it is pretty amazing, and i love mine.. its capable when modded right.. but I just kinda want a bigger rig and all..
