HPI's Nitro Star 12R SS or OS 12 CVR ?
I can only choose from those two...
they're stock engines of the HPI RS4 Pro3 Type SS
i'm deciding which to get, the one with the nitro star or OS engine.

Engine
Any normal .12 size engine with a standard shaft will fit in that car, not just those two.
Anyway, Between those two?
No thought involved, O.S for sure, I cant believe you even ask the question...lol

jboyd02 - I use non-turbo as roar requires but have you actually used the wasp engine? I'm looking for comments and if you used this engine, can you give comments on, tuning, ability to hold tune, how is the low and top end, etc.
The numbers they posted on their engine looks very impressive. BTW (in case you didn't know), tower is selling the same engine for 199 (tower #LL7543). Just an FYI.

I dunno, I may have to disagree, but it's kinda tough, the HPi SS motor is actually made by Novarossi in case u didn't know, which is a company that produces awesome engines, I owned an Mt 12 which absolutely was easy to tune reliable and fast and durable as hell, after 2 gallons the compression was almost like new still. Hmm, I believe the nitro ss motor is pretty much the same as the Novarossi cx .12 which is a Great engine. I feel that the ss motor although the hp rating is pretty much the same would probably be a little faster and last longer than the cv-r. But if u can stuff an OS .12 Tr in there, that's a different story, I'm running that engine also and it's awesome! Similar to the Nova/Mugen Mt-12.
