Default Bearing prob. with clutch on RC10Gt!!!

Need help real bad!!!!!
I have a RC10GT modded way past Factory Team with metal gear case all metal gears including spur, MIP CVD's, MIP 4-N-1 clutch, and p.o.s. A.E. .15 engine
Just the other day it started eating clutch bell bearings like crazy
I cant make it 3/4 of a tank without it frying both of them. I have oiled them, adjusted the slipper and have gone throught 5 pairs of bearings within 3 tanks of 10% fuel. Someone please help, I hope this is enough info........... Thanks

Default Bearing prob. with clutch on RC10Gt!!!

Pyro,
I gave an explanation about a solution to this malady several times before. Do a "search" on either "Krusty" or "clutch" or both. It should come up. To be brief, replace the Associated clutch nut with an HPI clutch nut (pilot shaft) and make sure the gear mesh is not too tight and binding. Check it in several locations on the spur gear. Adjust for the correct mesh at the "tightest" area of the spur.

Tell me this?
Is the E-clip coming off as well?
I learned this the hard way
Once you have thrown the E-clip and the clutch bell bearing comes off.
The nut/shaft needs to be replaced, maybe the clutch bell too
When the clutch bell rides on the shaft with out the bearing it messes up the shaft and the e-clip will not stay on
Replace the $3 nut and try it again
Any time you throw a bearing you need to replace the nut/shaft

Good luck
