Default TT-01 ball bearings

What are the differences in ball bearings?

I see some that have rubber coatings - blue, orange....

Then there are those which are just metal.

What is the difference in quality, performance and upkeep?

What's the going price and where's the best place to buy them online?

Thanks!

i just run the standard tamiya ones for twenty bucks and they are fine, but if you go to boca bearings you can probably find some that are gonna be higher quality, but for general use the tamiya ones are great.

Unless you are going to get ceramics from boca, Tamiya's bearings are better. They're made in Japan instead of crummy old china.
