Default steering servo

I have stripped 2 front steering servos in 2 weeks on my crawler. It is a pretty big crawler.

What is a good steering servo to get that I will not have any more problems?

Thanks

What kind of crawler is it? What kind of servo are you using? I would assume you need a High Torque servo with Metal gears. If your strapped for cash the Futuba S3305 HT MG servo is a good deal and if your have some cash burning a hole in your pocket then the HiTec HS5245MG is the one to get.

I've had great luck with the PPP servos that are available in the market place. Super cheap and they work really well. I'm using them on a Clod based crawler like you are and I have no problems.

Got a link to it?

This thing is as big as my baja remember so I need some power and durability.

Those are the ones my buddy and I bought. I've had mine under water floating my Clod and they still work fine. I beat the crap out of that truck and they take ever lick and ask for more. The ones I posted the link to aren't available anymore, but the same seller is selling some 202 oz. in. PPP servos. I think they're the same exact thing, but just a tiny bit weaker in power. I got lucky and got mine for like $16 a piece, so I bought five. Make sure and watch his auction for a couple of days. He would change the price on them EVERY SINGLE DAY when I was looking for mine. I was patient and bought them for the cheapest price he ever listed. They're generally around $30 which is still a great deal in my opinion.

Edit: The ad just came up on my screen. These are the ones he is currently selling. Money back guarantee. www.rcuniverse.com/market/item.cfm?itemId=494738

I have the hitec 5955tg and its awesome, but they did just come out with a re-placement for it but I think it has the same specs. Check it out 333oz's, I think .15 sec @6v and titanium gears.
