Looking into led's for my two trucks!!
Yeah i like to drive them at night and some nice bright led's would be alot nicer then the flashlight taped on the roof stunts. So any req'd led's i should get. I have seen alot of them on ebay so i just want some opinions guys.

You can get some 10-watt, 14-watt, or 22-watt LED modules on digikey. You will need a driver circuit (you can get a module for that too) and a heatsink so it will not overheat. A 22-watt LED is roughly equivelent to a 60-watt incadescent light bulb so it makes a pretty good headlight system.
driver module:

4xLED module (14V)

If you run it with the driver above, it will be roughly 10 watts which is roughly equivelent to a 30 watt incadescent, might be sufficient for your needs. You can also find lenses on digi-key if you want a narrower (but brighter) beam.

This caught my eye a while ago. I don't have one but the price is great. http://www.swanghobby.com/swanghobby...-1-pr-442.html

Those LEDs are not going to illuminate much, if you want something comparable to real headlights (to facilitate actual driving) you will need more power than that.

You could try these:
http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...rip_LED_system or
http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...A_Configurable
I have the 2nd one. Mounted just the red strobe to the back of an F1. Jumper makes it strobe or remain on.

I made a custom light unit on my axial using the Pro Line Light bar. I drilled out the backs, inserted some STUPID bright LED's from those cheap dollar store "LED" light assemblies. 6 LED's later, I plugged it into 2 AAA batteries... WOW talk about some light, I think the lights Access linked to should be more than enough. I can't imagine 2 60 watt bulbs worth of light on the front of your car... just use caution when driving to you... its going to be blinding

Just for reference here is a video I made a while ago of a single roughly 10 watt LED module.
