Default New to on-road

hey, ive been doing off-road for a couple years now but also want to start doing on-road 1/10 scale racing. ive been looking at the team associated tc5f kit and was wondering if you guys think this would be all right to begin with or if there is another brand which would be as good or better to start off with. my lhs carrys factory team and team associated parts but i could easily import other brand parts. thanks

Are you going to be racing, or just cruising around?

as far as I know the TC5 is right up there as far as touring cars go. If your local shop carries the parts and the price is in your range, i see no reason in looking elsewhere.

Yeah like willy said great starting kit most people buy the bottom end tourers and wonder why nothing is adjustable lol that tc5 kit can be tuned alot more than the TT/TB/CYCLONE kits.

Most people hop there tourers up in the end with stronger lighter parts etc but getting a decent chassis in the first place like the tc5 is the way to go m8

both version2 and ifs version are sweet

TA05-IFS

•Newly designed TA05-IFS chassis
•Inboard front suspension with horizontally-mounted oil dampers
•Front and rear reversible suspensions provide excellent handling and precise suspension adjustment.
•Stylish gun-metal medium narrow 6-spoke wheels equipped with racing slick tires.
•The body, rear wing, and side mirrors faithfully reproduce the actual cars sleek form.
TA-05 Ver.II

•Self assembly kit of the Subaru Impreza
•Subaru Impreza body is accurately reproduced with lightweight polycarbonate
•Full 2008 Cusco, Dunlop decals included
•Newly evolved TA05 ver II chassis
•Horizontally placed motor equal length 2-belt driven 4WD

my friend has the ifs version and the laydown shocks really help on the smooth tracks [8D]
