My Back Yard Track
Hi Fella's
Thought I would share my backyard track.. Well actually, my buddy and i live side by side and built this track together.. It is not completely done but great so far.. It Is about 1000 feet long from start to start.. We have some more piping and walls to put up but it is ready to run on now. We are in morgantown WV and our track closed.. So we decided to build one because the next tracks are 2.5 hrs away.. So here it is..

Thanks Bro. It's not done yet but we are working on it.. It started of small(haha) and we kept thinking a little more and it ended up really large. We ran 4x4 slahses, Revos, and slayers on it today and we could almost redline them out so it is really fun and being that is is only 50 yards or so from each of our houses it open all the time.. We got a 5000 watt metal haylide light(football stadium light) to put up but i am still building the pole so night time will not be a issue.

Yes it is!! If you are ever this way, you are more than welcome!!! We just do it to have fun.. We invite everybody no matter what rc you have.. All are welcome.. It really started before our track here shutdown.. All the fun had been taken out of it.. Most that come to the track that closed were cry baby, deep pocket, better than thou type of individuals anyway.. Most of them had $500.00 nova etc.. engines, every aftermarket part money could buy and could not drive to save there *****.. Nothing was as good as what they had.. All the fun was gone.. So we decided to do this for us and whomever else just wanted to have pure fun with rc again.. No money , no trophy. Just a face full of smiles and the joy of the hobby and some side by side rubin!!

Nice little track you got going. Doesn't look like there are many rocks to deal with either. You about done with the jumps or are you going to build them up?
They look like a good size for the amount of space you're using.
5000 watt metal halide, plenty of nitro, cold beer, and you're all set. Keep us posted on how it turns out.
If i could talk my wife into letting me, I would be doing the same ****. haha

Thanks.. Lot's of small stones but we removed the large ones.. Still changing the layout as it goes.. We have a bobcat so it takes no time to make a change.. So far so good.. we are talking about adding a rhythm section.. other than that we are happy wit it so far.. One problem though, after a 30 pack of bud, the steering servos don't work to well!!!!! HAHAH!!!
I will get some video this weekend..
