Default RE: in search of the true .40 size sports plane

ORIGINAL: aviti
speaking of 25 size planes, I have 3 old OS 25 size engines from years ago. I have a 25 FSR, 25 FSR ABC and a 28 FSR. All three of these were runners and incredibly reliable. I wouldn't mind finding something fun to put these in...how about a smaller lighter profile? I think the 40 LA is comparable to these...I used to pull around a 40 size Sterling Fledgling even doing aerobatics with the 25 FSR ABC.
Not a profile, but I've been very happy with a 25F ABC in the Modeltech Extra 300. Also, look at the World Models aircombat series. I've got one of these. So far it's had a 25 FSR, Saito FA-45, and 32 FSR. All worked well.
