RE: building a P59 AIRACOMET FROM GRUMANIA
Thank you :-)
Like you can see this is not a common jet ;-)
Wheels are from the Hunter of Mick Reeves.
Main gear is from Jet1A (sold with the kit).
I have made many "upgrade" like flaps and wings doors (made from carbon fiber by myself).
I have made new fuel tanks too in order to obtain 2 liters of fuel.
I plan to finish the wings with glass fiber and I will try to make an opening canopy.
More pics very soon !!

RE: building a P59 AIRACOMET FROM GRUMANIA
Hello Airacomet builders,
when I designed the kit of this Airacomet, I thought that the most important thing is an understandable building manual that also gives all important information to the customer. Repeated requests for informations such as centre of gravity from my customers let me come to the conclusion, that the instructions that came with the kit have never been read. Building and flying such a kind of model requires to read and follow the manufacturers instruction manuals.
In case of the CG position, the manuals say:
............The CG is approx. 125 mm from the leading edge, measured at the wing root. Make your fine adjustment for the CG after the first flights.
This CG position is correct .

We don`t need to stock all parts of a kit as we are a manufacturer - parts are made to order immediately.
