T-One Models A7 Corsair

There is no noticeable play, both tubes fit the wings fine. Slid in and out easy. I can move them laterally with no noticeable change. .01mm at most. With the wing bolt in there is no movement.
I’m missing the side cockpit panels.

Okay, mine has over 1/8 inch of play on the front tube and almost as much on the rear, this will have to be fixed since the wings will flutter if not. My tubes will fall out if you lean the model any they are so loose. Currently taking everything apart and going over it, taking videos and pictures of everything.
thanks for the information

I just put mine up for sale on the RCgroups.
My classic car decided to blow out the clutch. I waited so long for this jet that I almost forgot about it. So trading toy money for toy money.
I did get some info on the CG, I was told it starts at the Dog tooth. Which is directly across from the wing bolt. And as much up elevator as possible.

I don’t suppose you can provide the length and height of your fuselage missile rails? Mine are smaller that they mounting points on the missiles
maybe a length of the missile as well.
did yours come with anything that connects to the quick release arms on the stabs? Once the pipe in it needs some kind of arm on it to push the lollipop mechanism.
thanks

The rails are correct but the sidewinders are from the A-10 kit. I just split the difference and drilled my own holes in the sidewinder and mounted it.
The elevator “lock” can be pushed in with a screwdriver from the back after the pipe is in. I had to lightly sand the pin to get the lock to automatically “spring back”
No, there is no extension in the kit to have the lock come out the back. There are two holes that a rod could be attached to.
pipe/motor/fuselage attachment is a little bit of pain. Having the fuel tank out helps.

So I have another update on CG and some controls
28cm to 28.5cm from the leading eadge
Full flap is no more than 45°
Elevator is as much as elevator as possible
Barry Hou called about my missing cockpit side which I did not expect but greatly appreciated. I asked about the front gear sitting very low with no real spring to it. He informed me the will take a look at.
did get a flight report and it’s said to be predictable and smooth.
I do have mine for sale but might end up keeping it. The Delorean can wait :-)

if you look in the nose you are probably missing the equipment tray as well, you can see the mount for it below the cockpit.

Yeah I typically spend a far amount of time when I get a models from this region just cleaning out excess glue where I can reach. Def will shed a little weight after I'm done, plus I will be going over everything already installed since these are plug n play. Will be removing all the zip ties as well, never been a fan of using them.

I wanted to do one last video going over the flights and the last few issues that popped up after getting a few flights.

I have watched a few of the early videos, I’m pretty critical of what I buy and how I spend my money as well. But dang man, talk about going over it with a fine tooth comb.
Looking forward to the flight videos and reports.
Flight pics look great!

The final video is posted, I also covered the tube slop in my one of my first videos, one had over 1/4 in of slop and the other had about an 1/8" of slop. Wings would literally flap when bolted on due to the slop, it was mainly in in the cross tubes of the fuselage but the wings were also over sized so I had to fix both..

I typically have some kind of attachment to the models I choose and keep them for as long as I can so I have to have good solid models that will hold up for the long haul. Plus seeing and building as many as I have I no longer trust in certain companies so its always a microscope!

Well, that sucks. I almost ordered one but decided to wait.
Not to turn it into a T-One thread but I’ve also experienced inconsistency with them.
My first was a T1 Mini, that plane was flawless. The build was super nice the paint was super nice and it flew great. It was literally perfect.
My second was the 2.2m T1 and I waited 8 months for it due to covid. When I got it, it was a POS. Multiple issues, paint, build just a list of things. It was like it came from a different company. They replaced it, the replacement was almost as good as my mini was and I was happy with it. I still have it and will probably hang on to it it’s a really nice looking, nice flying plane.
A friend ordered a PNP T1 mini after seeing mine. It had all kinds of PNP install related issues but he was able to correct it all and fly.
Another friend ordered a 2.2m T1, PNP against my recommendation but when it showed up it was pretty well done for being a PNP. I recommended he still go completely through the plane but from what I saw it was pretty nicely done and the paint was flawless, super nice.
I don’t think I’ll mess with the A7, the price point and plane are attractive but it sounds like a mess.
