Diversity Receiver Antennas
Hi,
I bought a Diversity Rx from DFI recently and it came with no instructions.
Can anyone advise the optimal layout for the two antennas? Should it be at right angles, side by side etc. or what?
Cheers
Nick

RE: Diversity Receiver Antennas
Believe it or not, the best results I've seen are by placing your antennas as close to the ground as possible with one facing straight up and the other slightly pitched from horizontal. This configuration enhances the diversity coverage as the helo constantly changes orientation. Try to stand at least 5-10 feet from the antennas too. See what that does to get rid of the hits. Keep the antennas away from metal objects like fences and cars.
