Default Prop for 3D on H9 Sukhoi w/ DA 100.

What is a good prop for 3D and a lot of pull for the Da 100. Should I use a 27-10/28-10 wood, A 27-10/28-10 carbon, or a 26-12 3 blade?

I think allot of guy's use a 27/8 or 27/10 Menz standard. I know that Menz standard are good for 3D flying.

I agree. Bambula and MSC are also good props. You definetly want to go with a wood prop.

Prop selection is widely dependent on use, i.e. precision aerobatics or 3D work.

The H9 Sukhoi has almost 1/2" clearance with a 28/10 Menz S. This was our favorite prop on this model, BUT even with a textbook perfect landing the gear flexes enough to nick the prop... So the next best is a 27/10.

The MSC is a good choice for IMAC precision and lower noise levels. These load harder than others so I would suggest a 26/10 on this model. These are not real good for 3D work.

Menz S, Bambula, and Mejzlik's work well for 3D but are typically noisier than other's.

The three blade is adequate for precision and noise, buts lacks in 3D work...
