Default Help?Dave Patrick Edge/ST-3250

I saw a friends Dave Patrick Edge 540 fly this weekend. He has a ST-3250 on it with a Master AirScrew 18x6 prop. He claims it is balanced properly, but this was the squirliest flying Edge I've seen. It is ok straight and level, but not any other way. Personally, I think a different prop/pitch would help (20x8-10) this 14lb plane. Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance for my stubborn friend.....(By the way, this plane just does not look right proportionately. Short stubby wings/short stubby fuselage. At least compared to my Wild Hare Edge).....
