Servo & Receiver Compatibility
I have the [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/WTI0001P?&I=LXRAZ5&P=V]Futaba R603FF 3-Channel 2.4GHz FASST Receiver[/link] on my Revo 3.3 and I want to convert to single steering servo.
From what I read in these forums the [link=http://www.hitecrcd.com/servos/show?name=HS-5645MG]HS-5645MG[/link] is a good -not so expensive- choice.
It's [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXUZ80&P=ML]specs on TowerHobbies[/link] say that this servo will only work with Futaba J, Hitec S, JR, and Airtronics-Z radio systems.
I have no idea what that means. Why will this servo only work on those receivers? Will it work on my receiver? If not, what is a good alternative choice that will work on my receiver?
Thanks

RE: Servo & Receiver Compatibility
It will work fine on your receiver and all other receivers. When they say that it is a futaba j style, it means that there is a little flange/key on the connector that makes it impossible to plug in backwards. Its not necessary for operation, however so you can cut it off if it gets in the way. Just don't plug your servos in backwards.
