Proline Velocity Wheels Offset
Im getting big joes and i want the velocity 6 wheels for them, what is the advantage of the 1/2" offset version.

Those Big Joes are heavy, they will make your turning radius wider, if you have not upgraded to a high torque steering servo you might look into it. But that is a nice looking combo.

i don't recommend offset if you are going to be doing a lot of jumping, or if you like to run fast over rough terrain, the offset puts a lot of stress of the axle carriers and a arms making them more prone to breaking.

If your jumping, the wider stance will make landings more stable, thus landing more jumps and not flipping. If you have the 3.3 chassis and especially the extended a-a-arms you definitely want to use the 1/2 off set. It squares up the truck and makes it corner better and drive through the corner easier.

I agree with ttoks, it ruins bearings, hub carriers and arms much more often. I actually think my truck jumps better without the offset now and turns sharper.
