Default My 450 se v2 thinks the batt is dead but it isn't?

Hi just recently I went to fly my 450 se v2 and the tail starts twitching just like when the battery is starting to dye usually but i know for a fact it's fully charged, is their someway I can reset my esc? Or what else could be causing this power problem.

What ESC and yes you can program it. You may just need to rebind the radio. Or switch throttle hold off.

Jim
how do you know its a spectrum? and even if it is, the radio wouldn't cause the symptom that he is describing.

Or switch throttle hold off.

this is not so. if he had the throttle hold on, he wouldn't even spin up. turning throttle hold to INH on the other hand would not be advisable though as it acts like a saety switch and can also allow you to practice autos.

david,

it sounds to me that you may just need to reprogram your ESC. you might also want to double check your battery voltage before you fly. check each cell as they sould be at 4.2v each fully charged. if they arent within 0.1v of each other, you may have a bad battery.

good luck, wraith

A couple things....are your batteries cold? You should warm them up before flying...I put them in my pockets.

Also, I reprogrammed my ESC for mid-level LVC....it lets the cells get to 3.2 before pulsing.

Which ESC???

Most come with Directions to do it as all are different

if it is the Align...I had the same thing... would go into LVC with new batteries... switched to airplane mode so I could set the LVC to mid and it has been fine....

My Trex 500 did the same thing until I reprogrammed my ESC from high to mid-level like Skarn suggested, and the problem was solved... Finless recommended doing this also.
