the dry weight of this T-33 now is 11.7kg (25.7lbs) without the tailpipe, fuel tanks and cockpit, but the scale L/G with gear doors are installed.,

when istall the turbine with RC system, that i think should be 16-17kg (36lbs to 37.5lbs) dry weight ,.............

One of these is in my future...but I'm going to let someone else work out all the bugs first. A 30# motor should fly it very scale like.

A Mammoth would be way over powered. A real T 33 weighed 16000 with 4000 lbs thrust.

Anton

What was the dry weight of your test plane (everything but fuel) and did you need to add nose weight to balance? If so how much?

Ali,

Can you elaborate a little regarding your T-33. I have not seen very much being reported on this.

Thank you

Jan

Hi Jan,
I do start a thread a week or so ago on my T-33. But I cant seem to find it at the moment. I was sure the title was something like Skymaster T-33 first flights... I will look later.
If you have any specific questions then feel free to ask.
Regards Al

Ali,

Thanks mate that will be good - I missed it.

Interested in getting one, but would like to see how the user R&D goes first - if you catch my drift.

Cheers

Jan

I've been trying to get some info from John (I'm not sure who or what part of the Globe he is from) His e-mail address was [email protected] . I'm interested in your T-Bird so can you get in touch with him for me?
