Tmaxx dies after highspeed run
Ran the maxx today and was working on retuneing the carb from factory settings because i just put in a new aluminum clutch. I have the hsn set to 5 turns out and it runs great with the exception that when i come to a stop after highspeed runs it will die after about 5 mins of running. I have my idle screw set pretty high so i dont think that is it. Could it be that my lsn is to rich? Possibly overheating? It doesn't show any signs of overheating and its got about 1 gallon of fuel through after break in and a fairly new glow plug. It only does this after about 5-10 mins of running when it gets up to temp. Dont have a heat gun to check the temp but when its hot water will sizzle on top of the head for a few seconds until it evaps.

RE: Tmaxx dies after highspeed run
you want your t-maxx to run at the lowest idel possibal, keep your high speed a little rich and lean out the low speed, also it could be your brake set up.take your air breather off and adjust the idle and the servo horn so that everthing is working at neutral position.check to make sure your slide on the carb is resting al the way ajainst the idle screw and than set the linkage on the servo.that might help.what engine is on it could have alot to do with it also.good luck
