Default 5 bolt hub for G62!

Has anyone heard of a 4-5 or 6 bolt hub conversion for the G62? Is such a thing possible? I prefer the multi-bolt set up to the single bolt - just because!!

SuperCub Man,

I prefer the single bolt prop hub. All the other bolts are not needed on a G62.

A drill press and a tap is all it takes.

Well I'm glad you prefer the single bolt hub - but as I said in my original post - I prefer the multi bolt system!!!!!!!
GEEZ!!

T.O.M. - yes I have those tools, but better still I have a journeyman machinist who would do it for me. I was just curious if anyone made the conversion kit for sale. You must be very exact when drilling this as it would be bad to be out of alignment. There's enough vibration there already. Also I was trying to figure out if a 4 bolt would work as on the DLE 55 or would I need a five bolt as on the DLE100. I'm thinking a 4 bolt huib would be strong enough as I don't think my old G62 has that much more poop than ny new DLE55. Also I'm not sure if there is enough thickness in the prop hub to hold the bolts. I think there is.

Anyway - just thinkin'! I've had the G62 for quite a while and know it well. Just changing over to electronic ignition to get rid of the odd "bite" it gives me when I try to start it a little too dry. It will go in my Brisighella Waco ARE under construction.

Thanks for your opinions!

A multi bolt hub kit for a Zenoah would be one of the least sold items in the inventory. Since they've never been necessary nobody ever thought to fix something that wasn't broken. You could either send the entire engine out or pull the hub and send it out to get the work done. Just pick a reasonably standard bolt hole patter like DA or 3w and buy one of their prop washers for the pattern jig.

If you remove the index pins on a Zenoah the worst that can happen is the bolt/nut gets tighter. No possibility of hub slippage with the indexing pins in place. Your call.

I wish they were all single bolt. I have never had a problem with my G62.
