Did the big Concorde ever fly?
I read the threads regarding Jim's big Concorde, problems with the weight of it and being able to fly here etc..
I saw the plane on display a couple of years ago at the Joe Nall. And have been curious about it ever since.
Anyone know for sure what the deal is and whether or not it has flown?
Bill

Hi,
Check out this thread and maybe it will help explain some of the problems. These are in addition to whatever airframe/powerplant problems that may still be unresolved.

WOW, thanks for the info F106A I just read that entire thread if I said what I really wanted to I'm sure my reply would be deleted. I've been wanting to here about flight reports on that jet for quite a while also, its just disgusting that the AMA is probally the main reason that the concord has been a "hangar queen" for so long. Hopefully in the near future people will realize that maybe the insurance companies are just as if not more crooked as the lawyers. But let me not go off on a L sided tangent I already can't get people in the for sale add section to talk to me as it. is.......
