E-Revo Batteries
I just bought a new E-Revo (paid about $150 than online, but supported LHS) but only have 4 different batteries - 6 cell nicd, 6 cell nimh, 7 cell nimh and 2s lipo. Can i run the car on the 2 six cells (different mah) until I get another lipo or should I wait??

RE: E-Revo Batteries
in all cases if it's an e-revo scale 1/8 or 1/16 you should never use different batteries type.
if you are running ur model in series or in parallel the 2 batteries must be the same type, amps andcells number
and they must be fully charged (any other thing may damage ur model)

When using packs in series the number of cells doesn't have to be the same. You can use any combination of packs with cell counts up to the max of the system. The only rule for series wiring is that they must all have same capacity if you will use the full range of capacity. Maybe your 6 and 7 have same capacity cells? Here's some examples (I don't know what your max is , maybe 18 or 20 NI type cells)
3 - 6 cell packs
a 6 and a 7
a 2 and a 10
a 12 and a 1
a 5 and a 5 and a 5
a 10 and a 6
a 2 , 3 , 5 , 6 , 4 together
6 and 8 and so on.
There's also nothing wrong with using on the 7 cell pack by itself , it'll be slow , but will allow you to get used to it easily.
