Novak 7-day turnaound. Fraid' Not!

Novak 7-day turnaound. Fraid' Not!
So after burning up my ESC (my fault). Ilooked up what Ineeded to do to get my stuff repaired, sent it off, and paid for two day air. According to Novak it's seven day turnaround. They recieved my motor on the 17th, of November. Not including holidays, its been 17 days. Wife called on tuesday the7th, they said that they hadnt even started working on it yet. Waiting on parts? Serious, Isend off my brand new gear, and they dont have the parts? How is that possible?
Anyone else have issues with sending something off. If I dont get that motor tomarrow, Iwont make the race Saturday.
I was under the impression that they would recieve my motor/ESC and send me a rebuild combo. That's what Ipaid for or expected.
If this repair comes at no cost, I can deal with it. If they charge me full price for a refurbished motor and it takes a month, Im gonna be ticked!

Stories like that are why I stick to the lower cost stuff. It might not have the "warranty" the name rand items do, but hell with waranties like that why would I want to waste the extra cash

I am on the fence with Novak. They aren't the market leader they used to be. Sometime during the brushless revolution, their quality dipped and they lost their edge.

My Motor/esc arrived today, and has be re installed. This time with the dean's connector installed. Only bill i recieved was for shipping, havent checked the bank statement for the rest of the bill. If novak covered my mistake under warrenty, they were more than fair. Even with the long turnaround.
