Blackhorse Cap 232 1.80
Has anyone out there ever bought this arf? I guess it has a 80 inch w.s. I,m wondering about the quality of the kit. I,m looking for a home for my rcgf 45. Currently, I fly it in a cermark 77 inch w.s. edge. It flies it with authority. Thanks guys

Good quality, lovely flier I had one for a couple of years fitted with a Saito FG36. You won't regret buying one. I would say a 45 would be perfect for it

Hello sticks how did you think it handled with the fg36 powering it? i have the 220 glow engine and like the idea.Might sound silly but i'd like to end up with a cap232 that handles similar to the g4.5 version.

It was fine with the FG in it. Not a rocket ship, i.e. it would lose steam on a vertical, and wouldn't 3d but for nice scale aerobatics it was good. I think your 220 is on a par with the FG in terms of power maybe slightly more

I have one with a CRRC 40 in it. This is a very good quality ARF but remember it was built light to fly well, not sturdy to take a lot of abuse. The aluminum landing gear is very weak and will have to be replaced with something more substantial. A 45 ought to be just about perfect. It may come out pretty nose heavy with that engine, though. There isn't room to put the tank on the c g, so it pretty much has to be put in the front like a glow plane.
O.F. ifthe 2.20 has more power than my 1.80 (), then if you keep the weight down it ought to fly very well with it.
