Extra 300 - Fun Fly "3D"
Does anyone here have experience with this airplane?

Looks like it would be a fun project, but I would like to hear any pros/cons anyone has about it.

Hi
as it´s staded as both glow and electric I think it is not as light as it could be... which calls for a high end motor and battery to get it to work good, assumeing you want the "3D" bit too
the site states 70oz AUW, that calls for atlest 110oz thrust...
a B50 13S 6,7:1 swinging a 18x10 on 12cells 2600HR would work well.
maybe even a 17x12 prop to get some more speed for pattern flyign as well.
maybe even go for li-po, a 4s4p thunderpower would give you 30min flights too
