Here is a custom pitts muffler I made for my showtime 90. I do not think any available pitts muffler will fit in your cowl because of the bulky section were they connect to the engine. I have a couple of more pics in what plane are you using your DL20 thread.

Talk to Jtec- they have decent in cowl mufflers for the dle engines, and they might have one that fits your plane. But I would suggest that you try to get dimensions from whoever you talk to unless you are willing to take their word for whether it will fit.

Another approach is to search the dle30 thread for pitss muffler and pm some of the posters there who have pitts mufflers that might fit - maybe they will give you dimensions from their mufflers or maybe they have already found a muffler that fits your plane.

Jtec said that they will make me a muffler for my 130 2c, that I will be putting into my Tucanno so that I hope to keep the nose as is. All I need to do is send them my spec's after I mount it on the firewall. They will also be making me a muffler for my gasser 32cc Stuka. The pit that came with it is to bulky even for that cowl. It is from EMS the 32cc is an Aerovate. And it looks like I may have to have one made for the P-47's (topflite kit) 17cc I got from EMS too.

Keep flying and Keep trying

Thanks for the leads guys! Im going with the Jtec. They have one that will fit. I checked with Bisson and theirs is just a 1/4" to wide, but the Jtec is much narrower.

Much appreciated

Does any one know how much qieter the large volume wrap around from Jtech is in comparison to the standard? and are they any way near as quiet as a China Can?
