Default Update on the Nitro Sport

Just broke it in today. Stalled a few times while accelerating but apparently that's normal when breaking in. Only question I have is if the brakes are supposed to lock up when you use them full? Mine arent locking up. It seems to take about 4 seconds for my car to slow to a stop unless I brake and turn. Would you consider that a long period of time to slow down? I did roll the car a few times after breaking in so maybe that had something to do with it.

When the car is new, it takes some time for everything to wear-in. Realistically, you dont want the brakes to lock the tires up - this reduces control and could cause it to flip/roll. Run the car a few more times and see if braking gets any better. If after 3 or 4 more tanks it is still the same, then you will need to adjust the brake linkage a little bit tighter.

yeh, sounds like the brake linkage needs alittle adjustment.
i personally like to have them lock up at full brake., so it can lock them up if i need/want it to. but with normal driving you dont want the tires to lock up when braking as it will spin the car around. so i would set them up to lock up at full brake, but not use full brake most of the time.

no, shouldnt be to hard.

on the brake linkage there should be a collor with a set screw(slug screw) loosen that screw and you can move the collor. the closer the collor is to the servo's arm, the more(sooner) the brake will engage. the closer you move it to the end of the linkage, the less it will engage.
