Default i need some help to identify a car i have

i have an older custom built r.c. car and no idea what make or model it is..can anyone help..i have pics..i think its an avanti but not sure..pics will be posted on my profile..please help..

looks like an avante to me, are the wheels orange with black centers?

avante or egress m8 cant make out which one tho [] they just released the avante for 2011 too

thanks for the post..yes they have orange and black rims with 2 lever release..

If you had put the car up forsale 3 months ago before Tamiya announced the re-release of the Avante then you would have most likely gotten a few hundred dollar for it maybe more. I watched a pretty beat up parts cart sell for $350 about a year ago.

With the re-release coming out they're worth $150 if you can find someone that really wants the original. Look at it this way. Now you can keep it and have a steady supply of replacement parts for another 10 yrs or so.

Yeah, before the rere was announced a like new Avante could fetch 400-800 or more (depending on who was looking at the time). Ones not is great shape but still runnable were 200-300 range. Now with the rere, I'm seeing them sell in the 200-400 range for like new and 100-200 for used but descent.
